Exposure compensation is a way to change the way that light is read through the internal camera meter. It’s an easy fix for a dark subject with a bright background or any light source that may not be the focus of the photograph.
The assignment is to take a photograph using the camera light meter reading and then change the exposure by one stop – either up(lighter) or down (darker) – to see the difference it makes to the picture. Email both pictures with your name, date and assignment information.
