Building off the last assignment where only one color was the focus in the midst of darkness or neutrals, this will take one color and create varying layers with the color.
Due March 9th. This continues the lessons using Color as a story telling device. You will have to turn in TWO photographs of different subjects while using a monochrome color palette.(examples below). One color is in use repeatedly but deviates in brightness or saturation. This color palette lends itself better to still life rather than portraits unless the light source is tinted. For this, stay away from black and white photography and instead attempt to find or create a scene using variations of one color.
Email your two photographs with your name, date and assignment information from your school email. CC yourself as a record.
This is due March 9.
It’s often used in movies to convey a specific ambiance or feeling, to distinguish different story lines, settings, or narrators.
